Who is Yvonne Bartlett?
She is a local worship Leader based in Auckland who leads our worship on a Monday night. That however is a very small part of all the service that she offers the Body of Christ.
Yvonne is passionate about music as a means not only to worship the Lord and express our desire for greater intimacy with Him, but also as a vehicle for the Word of God to encourage us in the everyday outworking of our faith in Him.
She is a piano and singing teacher and has been involved in the worship ministry for longer than she cares to admit! Her recording "Receive" is in a nutshell a collection of "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs" which reflect her personal journey over an extended period of time. Other than the old hymn "Spirit of the Living God" (which she remembers first singing as a little girl in the Salvation Army), all the songs are her own and many originate from the "deep calls to deep" experiences of her life and draw on passages of Scripture which have inspired and empowered her to hang on and keep trusting in Jesus through those challenging times.
